A quick elevator pitch

I am a self taught artist based out of Mississippi who specializes in portraits (people or pets). Though my style is continually changing as I figure all this out, a constant I hope to always express in my work is my love of light and contrast, to be able to see both brush stroke and image, and to always think on the way your eye travels across the canvas so it never remains static for too long. My future goals are to take my brush work further to where I can present the best image with the fewest brushstrokes possible, and to maybe figure out the more subtle nuances of color (my work tends to be rather bold with color)
